William is in his second year at Palo Alto College and is ready to transfer to UTSA to complete his degree in psychology! He is a veteran who has overcome many obstacles to feel comfortable attending college. One day in class, William participated in a presentation by our Transition Coordinator, Leslie, where he thought that she was speaking directly to his needs. Leslie showed William that he did not have to face this journey alone, and she would be there to help him navigate it. William grew in his confidence and was connected to many organizations on campus. He is now laser-focused on graduating and helping others, just like his VA therapist, and Leslie helped him.
