Meet Cesar

Cesar, a graduating senior from McCollum High School, has worked with Communities In Schools Site Coordinators, Delia, Francine, and Sharita.  Delia was often with Cesar in XY-Zone, where Cesar learned about the 5 R’s – Respect, Responsibility, Role Modeling, Relationships, and Reaching Out.  When he found out he could go to college, he was surprised and so happy because he had previously thought college wasn’t within his reach.  “He worked hard, and he was really involved with CIS.  He always came to XY-Zone meetings and encouraged others to come with him,” Sharita said.  We’re so proud of you, Cesar!  Go out there and make your dreams a reality – we’ll be here to cheer you on!
