Restorative Practices
In this session, participants will learn about repairing harm and restoring relationships. The techniques and strategies learned will help with classroom behavior and organizational management. Topics can include community building circles, re-entry circles, restorative conversations, and staff transition circles. Participants will learn strategies for promoting a healthy climate and culture to their school or organization. Our materials were developed by our knowledgeable team of restorative trainers and practitioners, led by Shelly Bosse, LMSW, MA, the CIS-SA Training and Education Manager. These materials are a collaboration of extensive training, practice, and research. As one of the members of this team, Dr. Rachel Vargas also completed her dissertation on the topic of Restorative Practices in Schools when earning her doctorate. She will also be facilitating this session. You don’t want to miss it!
Session is in person at 1045 Cheever Blvd, Suite 201, San Antonio, Texas 78217.
