Keeping Kids In School Luncheon
Join the Communities In Schools of San Antonio Keeping Kids In School Luncheon on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 11:30-1:00 p.m. at the Westin San Antonio North (formerly the Omni Colonnade). This is the agency’s largest fundraising event benefiting our students and your chance to see the latest ways we are equipping students to take on and tear down the barriers that stand between them and an equitable path to education.
During this event, we will share the current state of our students, celebrate what we have done to go beyond school walls, and discover how we each can play a role in the life of young people. It is important to us, and we hope you bring our community together to celebrate what can be accomplished when everyone works together and remind ourselves that breaking down the barriers to learning is significant work.
We are also honored to have Dr. Kara Allen, Chief Impact Officer of Spurs Sports & Entertainment, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Allen is an unapologetic believer in young people and the adults that uplift them. Hear how a community of support can provide solutions for all students to thrive.
